” Forgiveness “

“Samvatsari” the festival of forgiveness in Jain community was celebrated yesterday in a serene way .
To forgive is to ” Pass over a mistake” . We believe and practice that ‘ If we have hurt anybody by our words , actions and deeds anyhow knowingly or unknowingly then kindly forgive us on the auspicious day of ‘ Samvatsari ‘.’ In simple words we say sorry to each other whole heartedly . All the religions across the world tend to practice the same in the form of Holi , Eid -ul – fitar , Guru purab and Christmas .

This doesn’t mean we should wait for this day to admit guilt rather if we have done something wrong to anybody we should apologize then and there itself . Jain stipulation is that no private quarrel and dispute may be carried beyond samvatsari .
I personally believe and practice to apologize with the person who I am estrangent with . Life is too short and we should always spread happiness and love .

If I have hurt you with my posts and comments knowningly or unknowingly so with folded hands 🙏🙏 I seek forgiveness from my fellow bloggers and readers .
